The mechanized tendrils are viciously attacking the citizens of the Gear! The strange wires can be seen falling from the sky, protruding from peoples faces, invading our homes and slithering in and out of the crowds. Assimilating and controlling all forms of social behavior the monstrosities are on the verge of enveloping humanity whole! And to make matters worse these extraterrestrial atrocities have even evolved beyond or natural comprehension invading the air waves like a radioactive infection! Behind the mass hypnosis lies a sinister deity bent on manipulating the city to his own twisted whim. Offering unnecessary luxuries and lazy communications to the masses the villainous future-being is able to track, monitor and guide each and every infected carrier. Disguised as progress the creature has worked its way into our hands, ears, eyes, and routines.

As the machine head progresses his ideologies spread unnoticed like a plague. Young denizens minds are being replaced by technological functions, meaningless consumables beckoned by the selfish black grin of the mechanized monster. All these strange happenings point towards a future no where and the profit of few for the loss of many.

Apparently unable to resists, the dreams and individuality of the peoples are transformed into twisted nightmares of macrocosmic consequence. Feeding on our natural weaknesses with repetitive propositions, mundane music and empty unobtainable romances the beast superficially satisfies mankind’s greed, loneliness, hatred and addictions to distraction leading us down a cyber highway of conformity! Beware of the dreaded suggestions of subliminally invasive monster Machinehead! This surreal super villain appears all throughout the HEY APATHY! mythology including the street art performances, large wall murals and in the comic books. The creature’s presence plays a primary role in BOOK 1 and in a more secretive way in 2.
