Robots Drawing & Strange Stories Part 2 (Read Part 1) After cleansing and refuelling my engines it was time to move onto the information processing stage. I connected my mind to the web sending and gathering signals. From one computer to another I learnt of the days events, financial conditions, the weather and world news. Then I shifted gears and investigated my personal networks reviewing my email and social media communications. Nothing human there. After carefully calculating all these various factors I was able to make the necessary adjustments and begin to execute the next stage of my programmed routine.
I covered my shell with the appropriate synthetic layers and made my way to the parking garage. On the elevator I received updates via my electronic appendage. Sure I used to think it was merely a phone or device but as part of my recent revelations I realize it is much much more. This appendage never leaves my side and keeps me online and in line, regulating my thought patterns as well as my movements. When I arrived at the garage I instinctively merged with the giant exo-skeletal mobile suit connecting both my body and mind with the machine. I plugged in my electrical appendage and let the GPS guide the commute.
Moving at an incredible pace the robot armour speeds me to work. In unison with thousands of other mechanized commuters the road ways are like enormous circuit boards transporting the denizens as currents to various destinations of the larger mainframe. Midpoint in this transition I always upgrade to a larger vehicular suit, joining hundreds of other cogs in this new machine is faster, easier and overall more efficient. The track lines are uninterrupted by intersecting currents and we all arrive in the central core of this existence at our scheduled times. Again the minutes are never wasted as each and every traveller is equipped with electric appendages flashing blue lights of information across all of our eyes. Continue to Weird Tale Part 3
