FUTURISTIC STORIES! Following an extensively archaic and intricately woven web of fiscal, military and genetic manipulations, the earths surface is rendered virtually uninhabitable. In order to perpetuate a mass consumerist state, the urban landscape is redesigned to accommodate inhabitants by means of an escalated metropolis. The higher compartments of the establishment are reserved for the elite, receiving the cleanest air currents and are equipped with water purification systems unlike any achieved before. However, despite these luxurious amenities, the pinnacle rich have never set foot on solid ground.

The only remnants of nature extend out from the bottom levels like great island bogs. Varying in both size and toxicity, these makeshift wastelands bare the only green vegetation any one has witnessed in years. Amidst the over grown and swampy vast bridges of life revel wonders of evolution man has yet to imagine. On occasion the below level neighborhood children are caught sneaking and exploring the marsh. Alas they are always given away by the inevitable odors and the dampness of their shoes thus never venturing too far. They have been warned by their parents that it is not safe to walk the mounds. Not only due to the obscure radiation but also because of the unpredictable hail storms and avalanches of refuse from above.

A degenerative recycling sends waste down from plateau to plateau ensuring that those living beneath are always properly supplied. After each cavalcade of rubbish organized stations and crew workers gather what is useful as food, goods and construction materials. Each lower level is provided with employment opportunities in factories designed to generate power for the buildings up above or to refurbish the collections for the cities below. This ingeniously cyclical mode of preservation not only maintains the higher buildings standard of living, but generates enough activity to simulate a monetary system below. A discarded water filter is worth countless human lives.

In order to prevent civil disobedience or probable "climbers", the geneticist's have injected a divisional serum into the lower level water ways. The incredibly accurate and NOBEL PRIZE winning concoction alters the physical state of the denizens permitting them to exist among the polluted bottom spheres whilst simultaneously ensuring their immediate suffocation upon attempts to enter high society. Welcome to man’s greatest accomplishment, an imaginary world where 10% of the population owns over 95% of the resources, for this is more than a bunch of futuristic stories, this is the ELAVATED CITY!
