THE MECHANIC |
COMIC BOOK SUPERHERO! At the end of his sixth grade of traditional schooling, Junior published an article exposing a corrupt bureaucratic monster society underlying the education system. Using virtuosic hacking abilities Jr. managed to have his articles printed in major newspapers all across the city and countryside. Like a seasoned professional, Junior’s dissertation provided irrefutable evidence the schools gifted programs selections were based solely on genetic specifications and nepotistic fiduciaries. To top it all off the sixth grader also revealed a vast number of secret computer encodings that had been used to keep not only the schools corruption but also many levels of municipal government and authorities from reaching the public’s ears. Shortly thereafter, a retraction was published in the local papers stating that the article was written by a delusional uncle who, since incarcerated, had signed the boy's name in is madness. Junior quietly dropped out of school and was never celebrated publicly again. Lost in society Jr took up with some small time Yakuza and used his talents for delinquent pleasures. However not much is know of his teen age years as his genius prevented any records or charges to be laid during that time. |
Following this liaison of miniscule fraud and street hooliganism, Junior found work in a small repair shop downtown. The Old Man encountered Junior’s craftsmanship while investigating a violated hard drive. Interested by the criminal’s peculiar invasion the Old Man tracked Junior down. Following a trail of mischievous computer corruptions he found Junior at a local cyber cafe and offered him work, room and food in exchange for his talents. Although neither of them ever mention it, it is almost certain that the Old Man was aware of Junior’s young fame, and that Junior must have known the Old Man as the legendary Guardian Wellis for without hesitation Junior accepted the deal. He took the Old Man’s job at the repair shop and has been there developing his secret sciences ever since.
